Pre-Cleanse

The pre cleanse is designed to down shift from your normal dietary habits and routine in order to balance the body’s natural chemistry prior to embarking on the full cleanse. By gradually eliminating processed foods and beverages from your diet and replacing them with nutrient rich food and juices, your mind and body will have an opportunity to be better prepared for the main event.

Start by setting realistic goals. If the bar is set too high then we set ourselves up for failure become discouraged and give up. Whether you want to lose unwanted pounds or just improve the quality of your health, take baby steps set weekly goals and take it one day at a time; I highly recommend journaling it’s an excellent way to keep you on track. Afterwards you’re able to evaluate and chart your progress to see what worked and what didn’t.
You’ll be surprised how quickly the time passes and how great you’ll begin to look and feel.

If this is your first experience with cleansing consider the pre cleanse and work your way up gradually eliminating different foods each week.

What you’ll need:
·         Juicer: There are plenty of quality juicers on the market to fit everyone’s budget I recommend the Jack La Lane juicer it retails @$90.00 you can find one in the house wares section of any department store.*
·         A standard blender
·         1 gallon glass jar with cheesecloth and strainer for making the Probiotic Spa Water
·         1dz 8oz Mason jars w/lids (for the Green Drink)

Pre-juicing & Storage

You can pre juice the the Hydrators and Oxygenator (Green Drink) and store them in air tight Mason Jars and refrigerate. They can be refrigerated up to 7 days with only moderate nutritional decline.
Rule of thumb:

Daily recommended juice consumption should be a ratio of 70% vegetable to 30% fruit. If you consume a total of 30 oz of juice per day, then 20oz should be vegetables only.  Use organic produce whenever possible, if you are unable to obtain organic, I suggest washing it to remove any residual pesticides. I prefer to prep and refrigerate some of the fruit prior to juicing such as berries and bananas.

*Never juice bananas or avocados they clog the juicer. When in doubt, always refer the manufacturer’s handbook.
